Two Pints Bar Billiards is an online Shockwave 3D Game commissioned by the BBC to promote the series “Two Pints of Lager and a packet of crisps”. Re-using the game engine that was created for “Shooting Stars Krazy Golf” , it replaced the linear single-hole nature of crazy golf with multiple holes which could be potted in any order and added billiard pins which had to be avoided. Using multiple holes considerably changed the way the game was played as there were numerous different solutions to completing the table.
The multiple routes encouraged replaying each table to explore the optimal solution for completing it. This extended the longevity of the game.
Developed in Shockwave 3D, Havok (physics)
All of the levels and art assets were created in Maya.
