Space Pirates
These three sound toys were created with Milo Creative for the CBeebies TV show Space Pirates. The primary audience is 4-6 year olds (although they are designed to appeal to a wider secondary audidence) allowing them to explore concepts such as pitch, rhythm, scale, chords, and tempo.
We worked on three of the modules (those in the bottom right of the interface) - “Bubble Pop”, “Wake up Shoop” and “Sun and Moon - Music Moods”. Each provides a playful interface for exploring an open, goal-free environment populated with characters and objects that react to your actions and to each other - producing a variety of sounds, melodies and rhythms. They vary from an ambient environment that responds to gentle mouse movements to a virtual organ and simple sequencer.
Launch Space Pirates (and choose one of the three in the bottom right)
Developed in ActionScript 3.

I love the look and feed of the game. You should makes something similar using XNA as the Xbox 360 needs more games for the less hardcore gamer.
