Help the creators of Rolando with our next game. Join the small team in our central London studio to help create our forthcoming downloadable console title, Okabu. Using our in-house tools, you will help craft a hyper-tactile toybox world filled with a huge number of puzzles, playthings, adorable creatures and devious machines.
In addition to level design, you will contribute to the overall design of Okabu, suggest new gameplay features, help with user testing, and being a small team probably all manner of other things.
We’d consider the position on either a contract of permanent basis. Passion for creating great games a must! We’d love to hear from you – drop us an mail at hello@handcircus.com.
We are delighted to have moved our online selves into this brand new home, and are busy unpacking after the amazing decoration, design, architecture and construction efforts of Pete, Daniel and Mikko. Its going to serve us well for delivering all HandCircus news, screens, trailers, and videos of cute animals doing unexpected things that we find on the internet.
For the last nine months we’ve been busy working on our new game Okabu, building a brand new world, and creating all manner of exotic characters, creatures and contraptions to fill it with. It’s been a more ambitious undertaking than our previous games, but we’re really excited with how its been progressing and can’t wait to show it off a little later this year. For more information, keep an eye on this blog and on our Twitter Feed.
There’s already a few clues dotted around the site – take a look at the big image at the top and you might see a few characters you don’t recognise!
Our first game, Rolando, launched on the App Store exactly a year ago today. Its been an incredible year for us – the reception to Rolando (and Rolando 2) has been really overwhelming! From being featured in the Apple TV adverts and getting a “9″ in Edge magazine, to the many messages and fun Rolando drawings/ collages/ cakes/ toys that players have sent through – it really has been a dream come true. We’d love to say a huge thankyou to everyone that bought the game and supported us!
